A quick rinse and the right storage, and your kit holds up season after season.
the chair
Rinse with fresh water after a beach day and let it air dry before folding. Wipe the beechwood armrests with a damp cloth. Store it folded and dry, and the rust-proof aluminum will hold up to the salt air.
the towel
Machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low or hang in the sun. Skip fabric softener and bleach so the sand-release weave keeps working. Shake it out before it goes in the wash to keep sand out of the machine.
the umbrella
Rinse sand off the anchor and pole after use. Open the canopy and let it dry fully before folding it down, so it never gets put away damp. Wipe the canopy clean with a damp cloth as needed.
pouches & fabric
Spot clean with mild soap and a damp cloth, then air dry. The recycled ocean bound fabric is built for salt and sand, so a rinse and a dry is usually all it needs.
storing it all
Store everything dry and out of long stretches of direct sun when it is not in use. The full pouch and the umbrella both clip to the chair, so the whole kit stows together.
