florida, from the gulf to the atlantic

Florida gives you two coastlines and two moods. The Gulf side is calm, warm, and built for floating. The Atlantic side has the surf and the sunrise. Picking your coast is most of the planning.

the gulf

The panhandle around Destin and 30A has sugar-white sand and that famous green water. Farther south, Siesta Key near Sarasota has sand so fine it stays cool underfoot. The Gulf is the easy choice for families and slow swimmers.

the atlantic

From Miami up through Fort Lauderdale and the Space Coast, the Atlantic brings bigger water, morning light, and a livelier boardwalk scene. Good for a walk at sunrise and a swim with a little more push to it.

what to bring

Florida sun is no joke, so shade and reapplied sunscreen matter. So does a towel that dries fast in the humidity instead of staying damp in your bag. Ours is sand free and quick to dry, made from recycled ocean bound plastic, so it keeps up with a long day on either coast.

Whichever side you choose: beach more, worry less.
